The Seventh-Day Adventist Church Local Conference, Philippines (SDACLC) is accepting donations. However, it is very important for you to tell us whether your donation is in the form of a tithe or offering. SDACLC will use the tithe in a manner strictly stated by God.
Will You Help?
The SDACLC (National Church) plans to double or even triple its present capability in sharing the heavenly treasures to others. She can then double or triple her number of workers. She can support their families while the workers are away for missionary works. At present there are still many places within the country she cannot reach due to budget shortages. The Mindoro area, for instance, is not yet visited though the place is a promising opportunity for God's truth to make a foothold. The plan to hold evangelism there suffered set backs constanly due to financial aspects.
The SDACLC is again planning this year to send evangelists in the area. With your help, she may be able to do it now.
The SDACLC has the highly capable workers in delivering the message even to the remotest area in the country. If they keep their works with the meager support the churches can afford, how much more if they are fully supported by your donations. At present, the churches within the organization can only afford to set some of them to work for some weeks. After that these workers will find other means to feed their family until they are called by the churches again to work. Some workers are maintained by some churches within the organization who can afford but barely more than enough in feeding the workers' family.
With the special arrangement or negotiation with the SDACLC, the donor may be allowed to support some of the workers of his or her choice and he or she may be allowed to decide to where these workers will be sent to evangelize. The list of our workers will be made available soon.
Your Tithes?
Yes, this organization has the 15 Board of Trustees Members (National Church Board members) together with all the ordained ministers and laymen to ensure that your tithes will be used to support the evangelists.
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Mal:3:10
"The tithe is set apart for a special use....It is to be especially devoted to the support of those who are bearing God's message to the world, and it should not be diverted from this purpose." Welfare Ministry, p 277.
"God's ministers are His shepherds, appointed by Him to feed His flock. The tithe is His provision for their maintenance, and He designs that it shall be held sacred for this purpose." Pamphlets, vol 1, p 40.
"A great mistake is made when the tithe is drawn from the object for which it is to be used,--the support of the ministers." 9T 248.
Also, the Board of Trustees will consider using a portion of your tithes in building churches in the remote areas, supporting publishing houses and schools. At present SDACLC has no publishing house.

Offerings or ordinary financial help?
Other than using your donation in evangelism, the SDACLC may also use a portion of it in helping calamity stricken areas, to pay some of the hospital bills of the poor people, to help people who are in need.
